Hey all,
I'm looking for someone who can create a car marketplace website for me. I'm not looking for a craigslist or ebay type site. Something similar to what i'm looking for is to [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] where someone can put in their postal code or zip code and search by proximity. Sellers will pay a fee to post a car, with an extra fee to upgrade to a feature post.
I've built a semi sitemap to show what i am looking for:
• Homepage
o Quick search – by make/model/year, search by proximity to postal code (Canada & US)
o Featured posts
o Recent articles
o Upcoming car shows/auctions/events
• Buy
o Advanced search – make/model/year rage/modified/custom/price range/body style, search by proximity to postal code (Canada & US)
o View details w/ pictures of listed cars
o Featured posts will appear on first page of search results for specific search
o Contact with seller is done directly through phone or email
 Contact form for email will be needed

Another feature i would like is a search engine which would search local car shows/auctions/car related events close to the area of the site vistor.
This is a start for what I am looking at. I will also need a database makes and models of cars and trucks from 1890-1990. If you need any more information please let me know.
As of right now i'm just looking for someone who can create the basic functionality of the site, I may already have someone who will do the logo and website design. however this can also be negotiated in.
