I currently have multiple Php scripts that all require users to register and log-in separately. I need someone to write a script that will allow a single registration to register the users for each of the scripts and then run off of the same cookie so they don't need to keep logging in every time they move from one feature to another.
The PhP scripts that need consolidation are:
#Dynamo (it is a content hierarchy script that allows users to access certain areas of the site based on the group they are assigned)
#PhpBB
#Newsletter (bundled with Dynamo so one may take care of the other)
#3 small data manager scripts (recovery, partners and couples)*
#3 small checklist scripts (recovery, partners and couples)*
*These six programs are actually two small programs that were written and triplicated--adding only an extra number to the database/folder.
Whether an existing script can be expanded to register the individual for the others; or whether an entry portal registration can be used to collect the information and disseminate is something that I would like to discuss. Which would be more efficient...
## Deliverables
What I need is for a new user who comes to my site to be able to register once, and be automatically registered for each of the scripts that require registration (those listed earlier). Then, to remain logged in and be able to go from script to script without having to login again and again.
The main user table that will be used is the PhpBB forum table. All other scripts have either not yet been in use or the data is expendable. The lone exception to this is the Recovery Manager, where the registrants were told specifically to register with the exact user name/password as they did with the forum. And so, if they lose their manager data because they didn't follow this...not a problem.
