I need a flash adventure engine written in actionscript3. Must be done in Flex since I don't have Flash IDE. You can store the data in any way you want, XML file or mySQL database or whatever. You need to provide me an editor (maybe made in Flex) or simply instructions to edit the text files.
Basically, I need a tree-structure dialogue system. For those who knows it, similar to the Newerwinter Night one.
In practice each "node" of the dialogue can have:
- previous requirements
- a background
- a character (optional)
- texts to read
- a number choices, each one with a possible requirement too
Requirements should be in form of variables. For example key01==true, display the node/dialogue option, otherwise don't display it.
Background is a simple JPG to display.
Character is a PNG transparent image to display as talking character.
Texts is a text do be displayed on the bottom of the screen. User can click to advance the text until arrives at a choice.
Choices are displayed one per line and with buttons, they're clickable, and each choice can:
- change a variable value
- jump to another node in the dialogue
