Web based application for running executables and scripts on remote computers, including execution engine, administration screen, SQL database and reports. The application will consist of the following: 1. Console ??" web based, providing screens for: 1. Selecting target hosts (or host groups). 2. Displaying job log outputs. 3. Reporting and querying the database. 4. Administration (defining scripts, target hosts etc.) 2. Database ??" MS-SQL db, holding data collected by scripts. Tables and sort keys will be provided. 3. Engine ??" will run multiple scripts simultaneously, by connecting to the target hosts and then running the selected script per each host. Preferred programming language is PERL, however, certain components me be coded in C++. Script outputs will be plain text, XML formatted. Further detailed requirements will be provided for interested coders. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Console - browser? based (Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher). Web server - MS IIS 5.0 or higher. Database - MS-SQL 2000 or higher. Engine - running on MS Win 2000 Professional? or higher. Target hosts - MS Win NT 4.0 or higher.
