Changed an import module for prestashop 1.4.9 to 1.5.6

I have a webshop running with Prestashop 1.4.9. that I want to upgrade it to 1.5.6. I am using a module for importing items to my shop. This is run every night via a craon job. After import the module checks a txt. file for translations that it copies to the right products. It also checks a txt file for 8-12 items to put as feature items on the front page. and it checks another txt file to see what items to put on offer. This is all working in 1.4.9 now. I want it changed so it Works with 1.5.6.
