I have a domain located at [login to view URL] I need a custom script written that will do the following- I have an account set up at a shopping cart provider ([login to view URL]) that provides an affiliate tracking system. It gives the affiliate a long URL as most of these systems do. ([login to view URL]) It relies on cookies to track commissions I would like to offer subdomains to my better affilates. Herein lies the problem. I can point the affilates long URL to a specific subdomain via the shopping cart control panel for instance: [login to view URL] The only problem is - people want to point traffic directly to their subdomain and the cookie is not getting set. Is there a javascript or cgi script that can be written that will do the following: When a web site visitor goes to [login to view URL] it quickly redirects them to the long URL - [login to view URL] But on the redirect back from the shopping cart, recognizes the [login to view URL] domain and stops the redirection process? Otherwise - I get an endless procession of redirects. Any other solutions will be considered also.
