Existing custom EDI interpreter written in php downloads EDI files from the VAN and parses the data out into mysql database. Also creates EDI files from database and uploads them. Currently 997 responses are generated automatically and blindly for data that is recieved. For data that is uploaded, 997 responses are discarded and not read. This project is to write/modify the php code to allow the viewing of the 997 responses from the organization recieving our EDI data. The 997 responses do not need to be automatically interpreted, simply viewed in a browser in text format. We would need the ability to see the 997 responses and the time/date of each and click on it to view it. A working knowledge of EDI is essential to being able to complete this project. An intimate knowlege of EDI is even better. I will expect to see EDI work in your past projects or portfolio.
