A website Project - generic as long as requirements are met

1. The project is to design a web site, it could be any site of the followings:

- Government

- University

- Bank or Hotel

- Company or organization

- Event or exhibition

- Or others

2. You don't have to populate or add graphics to it (just leave a place holder or comment box for it where it can be done). If you have a template that is pre-designed - that works fine too!

3. Requirement:

All these features should be included (even it may not make sense for the site):

3.1 Headings, Links, Images, special Char and Horizontal rules, Lists, Tables, Forms, Internal Linking, meta Elements.

3.2 Inline styles, embedded style sheets, conflicting style, Linking external style sheets, positioning elements, backgrounds, element dimensions, box model and text flow, media types, CSS drop-down menu,

3.3 Dynamic Welcome Page, Arithmetic function, equality and relational operators

3.4 If … else, while, for, Switch, do …while

3.5 At least 5 functions

3.6 Using arrays, sorting the array, using Math object, Date Object, Document Object (You should use at least one of each), using cookies

3.7 DOM: You can search or delete or add documents by using their IDs; DOM Dynamic styles used for animation in your project (the sample html files can be found in the blackboard/handouts folder).

3.8 (Optional: Simple drawing and Rollovers with event onmousemove and onmouseout.) Required: 1). The timer starts and the seconds are shown when the event onload; 2). onfocus/onblur/onclick/sumbit should be used in the project. (The sample html files can be found in the blackboard/handouts folder).

3.9 PHP. Your site should have a page using PHP as a user registration. Same as the example posted in the blockboard, after the user click “Register” or “Submit”, his/her information will be directed to a page with php extension.
