I have an application written in FoxPro that runs on a LAN.? I want to have this app re-written as a web-based system.? In doing so, the look-and-feel will certainly need to change.
This is a church management program, keeping track of member information.? While the FoxPro version is designed to be used by one church, the Internet version will handle many churches (which? would require an addition? database table of user churches and? an extra key field in the existing DB files/tables).
The current version consists of approximately 35,000 lines of code, 130 screens (that contain additional code), and 50 reports.? Printed reports would have to be produced as .pdf documents; other reports would be as MS Word .doc files or MS Excel .xls files.
The new system will have to be portable.? That is, it must be simple for me to move the system from one web host to another.? It cannot be tied to a specific web server.
And it has to be maintainable by me.? Clean, documented code is a must.
You can download an executable copy of the existing program from

I want to thank you for putting your efforts into answering my request for bids on this project. ---- I'm putting this project on hold for a while - while I figure out exactly what it is that I want you to do (or not). ---- I don't want to send you additional info about the project at this time because I don't want to waste your time in the case that I choose to cancel the project. ---- So, hold on and I'll get back to you in a couple of weeks. ---- Thank you.
