I need an application written in Java that use the Bluetooth stack (JSR 82) to exchange messages with other bluetooth devices using OBEX messages. The goal is to ease the toothing process among people that spend some time in the same place. I would like to test it in a couple of bars before finalizing the project and give it away for free (GPL license). The application must: - Scan the neighborohood for any other bluetooth devices every 2 minutes (this could be changed in a Preferences panel) - when it finds a new one, it records its code, name and OBEX support in a local database - If the new device has OBEX support, the app should ask user if he wants to send a message - If so, it should open a text box and allow the user to write, correct and send the message. Of course he can change his mind and select Cancel to come back to scanning mode. - While in scan mode, the user can select from a list of “live?? bluetooth devices any of them and send it a message. A “live?? device is a device that has been detected in the last scan (now or already recorded in the local database) - The user can select a device and ask the app to check if it’s still “live?? or not - The main screen should display a list of all “live?? devices: in green if they are new, in red if the user doesn’t want to communicate with them, in blue if the user sent them a message. The main menu of the app should be like this: Main Menu - Preferences - Start/Stop Scan - Send Message
