Functionality: * Capture From DV Camera, Still Camera, Mobile Device, Web Cam or Computer • Users can upload all major video formats from all major devices • Restriction on clip duration • Automatically creates representational thumbnail and storyboard Review and Publish Clips: • Administration tools to QA clips before publishing to appropriate Web or Broadcast property (admin to enable/disable) • Clips without any views for x days have to be deleted by system automatically. Tags, Topics, and Customer Experience: •Defines the topics or channels to organize the media Watching and Share Clips: • Users will watch media on our own branded Flash players • Users can Email media • Users can share media with friends inside the site • Users can share media with anyone who visits the site • Users are provided their own personal URL with all their Public content • Users can view top rated and random clips on all pages. Community Features: • Blogs and Forums • Users can Rate It! And this rating system must be ajax based. • Users can Comment on It! • Users can Share It! • Users can Link to It! • Users can Embed the player so they can place video into articles, websites or blogs. Users Can Manage Their Own Profile and Community Experience: • Users can Create play lists of related clips (A common event, etc) • Users can Create their personal profile for the site • Users can Collect their favorite videos in “My Favorite Clips?? • Users can Subscribe to feeds of their favorite user-creators videos or to tag words: • Users can track stats on their own clips (times viewed, comments, rating) Ad Supported Content: • Add “lower-third?? banners, clickable “billboards?? at the end of clips • Add graphics and logos directly into the video • Add a horizontal space for text ads.
