Create form checker for space to function in Register page

Bid what is requested so i can hire you..Not hiring over bidders..Payment will be 1 milestone of $20.00 released only upon completed requested work…Need someone who can create a form checker or so.. The form checker that checks for duplicate username in register page works fine,,The thing is when i try to register.. Example "Freddy Krueger" username with NO in between dash (-) it will NOT recognize username and say username available in green text..Though form checker in the end will let them know in header username is taken as username is like this "Freddy-Krueger"…..It will say in red text that username is not available if i try like this "Freddy-Krueger"………2nd issue is when i try and it shows in header username taken et etc,,the character count does not allow me to re-enter the max 18 characters as it is cut down to very few,only to add up 18 characters again i have to paste it.. If fixes are successful you will need to tell me the changes made so i can add to my files then you have completed task once i try the changes..
