Consultancy – Robotics Related (Steppers, Drivers, Interfacing)

Scope of Project: This is a small R&D project with the aim of creating an appliance driven be Stepper Motors. We are absolute beginners in the field of Motion Control and require basic consultancy work via email, chat and/or telephone. Our aim at this point is to understand the basics of Stepper Motor Control which obviously covers electronics related matters and also Computer Control of the Stepper Motor with the ultimate objective of sending movement commands to the stepper through a PHP script. Project Deliverables: 1. Provide initial consultation and address matters related to the test setup we have in mind. 2. Assist in the selection of one or two DC Stepper Motors together with Drivers and Related Equipment for the test setup. 3. Design basic schematic for the operation of the above. 4. Assist in the basic control of the stepper motor from PC. 5. Provide PHP basic code examples for control of the Stepper Motor. 6. Provide ongoing consultancy as the project moves forward. Bidder Requirements: 1. Be fluent in English 2. Have extensive knowledge of Stepper Motors, Drivers and Controllers 3. Have basic knowledge of PHP and Linux. 4. Have extensive Electronics Knowledge.
