This project is for testing and debugging.
I recently converted an MS ACCESS 97 to MS ACCESS 2000.
I solved one of the bugs and that is the 97 version is using a different "ADO".
Here is the access application
( this is a 60 MB file )
Go over this converted application and check for bugs. If you find a bug put a fix on it.
What I want is this:
1) Go over the application. Launch the “Pur95?? access and you will have a switchboard. Just navigate and make changes. Try updating some of the datas. Make sure the drop downs all work. Make sure the output works like when you click on “print?? and all the datas are there.
2) Go over this suggested checklist for converting access 97 to a newer version
<[login to view URL]>
3) When you spot a bug. Compile a formal list. Describe how you get the bug.
4) Put a fix on the bug by recoding that like.
5) Make sure you document all the changes in MS Word. Describe the bug. And describe how you fixed it.
I will check your findings with the original version and verify the bug, and if its fixed or not. I am also debugging, and will let you know if I find one.
Note, this file is already converted to access 2000 and I have already added the missing "ADO".
This should run right away. Just making sure there is little or no bugs.
