C microcontroller firmware

I do have a Non-Disclosure agreement but we will worry about that after I select a coder. I can give enough details without it so you can get an idea and give me a bid.

I have a circuit that I hired a very experienced engineer to design for me. It is based on a Zilog Microprocessor and I will supply all part numbers, schematics and details after a coder is selected. I would prefer if you were familiar with Zilog or can get familiar with it with ease as i do not want to have to ship a bunch of samples especially overseas (but will if i absolutely have to). The Zilog is comparable to an ATMEL, in fact we were real close to using the ATMEL instead, but the engineer opted for Zilog. The engineer also typed up a programming guide which should make this easier. I do not yet have professional prototypes but have one prototyped on my breadboard. Even though I had to hire the electronics engineer and now coder, i am familiar with both and will do most of the installation of the code on the breadboard and testing. I will then report to you my findings. Obviously not the most efficient but my only choice at this time.

The code needs to be C and the circuit is fairly simple. The CPU is mostly used for simple I/O. There is a 2x16 LCD screen, about 8 tact buttons, two pulsed inputs that need to be counted and an output to a stepper motor. That is basically it, there is a slight user interface but as you can imagine, with 2x16 LCD, it is not going to be too extensive.

You might want to have experience with driving stepper/servo motors, frequency/pulse counting, general I/O, LCD interface, electronic engineering concepts and schematic understanding.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
