The sample .dat file needs to be reverse engineered to determine how it is constructed. Do NOT simply create a clone of this app., but create an app. that looks similar, but creates files in the same format as the attached file. NOTE: The attached data file is NOT standard Metastock format. The point of this project is not to convert ASCII to Metastock files. It is to convert ASCII to a custom file format, which is similar, but not the same as Metastock. As stated previously, you need to reverse engineer the attached file to figure out what that custom format is, then build the app to create files in the same format. I have no source file from which the attached data file has been created and I have no other details on how the file was constructed.
