I have a simple c program that I need to be converted into php. I will attach the original c program that you can execute from a dos prompt and test results. I am including source code and test results as well.
## Deliverables
Here's the info regarding the algorithm written in C that must be converted to PHP.
I'm going to send the actual c code - called 1tm-036.cpp. I'm also going to send an exe which you can run to see the results from the cpp program. Note, I renamed the exe to exexxx. I'm also sending a test doc that presents a sampling of codes to test and the results.
Here's how to run the dos program the runs the test algorithm.
To run the 'dos' program,
1) copy the exe program ([login to view URL]) into a directory.
2) open up a command prompt and navigate to the directory with the [login to view URL] program
3) type into the command prompt [login to view URL] xxxx where xxxx = a code. **Do not enter the A**. For example [login to view URL] 3833 returns a set of values with for example a value of 4056 for 150 treatments.
A separate screen will appear with a set of results. These results are different than what the website is presenting.
This is a quote from the engineer who wrote the c code:
The algorithm is fully expressed in the C code, which is less than a page long. The heart is the random number generator. Each new 16-bit random number is generated by creating a new LSB from the XNOR of the current bits 15, 4, and 3, and shifting the new bit into the LSB as the previous number is shifted left, discarding bit 15.
The starting seed is the code given by the unit (4 digits). The random number generator is cycled 5 times on this seed (the 5 is a parameter that can be changed if there comes a need to change the "codebook"). Each new random number is then used as the code for each consecutive entry in the TreatmentLookup table.
