Language: C / C++ OS: Windows XP 32 and 64-bit We need a method to access the separate audio streams produced by several programs that are running simultaneously on the same PC. We need to be able to access the audio data by reading from memory so that we can later compress it and then transmit it to another device across a network. We must assume that we do not have access to the source code of these programs. These programs will most likely be using DirectSound and there probably won't be a sound card in the PC. We believe that the best method of achieving our goals is to have our own audio device driver.
