We require a program that mimics the functionality of Regsvr32 when it registers a COM component. Essentially, this program should be a fairly sparse console application that takes a hard coded progid string, path and matching clsid and places them in the registry as though they were being registered by Regsvr32.
An entries made by Regsvr32 should be made by the program. However, the difference being that our program will not need the actualy com component as all required information will be hardcoded.
Theoretically, if a matching COM component was placed on the file system in the correct location, the object would be creatable via a CreateObject call.
The program must be written in C++ Visual Studio 2003.
