Custom WIndows Interface

hello i am currently developing an in vehicle computing system using a full version of windows software. I need a user interface that allows control of other software applications through one or several screens. it can have multiple pages but the buttons must be large and legeble it must also be intuitive because the viewing medium are 7 inch mobile video screens. most do not even have vga resolution. i do not really need a program persay just something that sits on top of the windows OS and can control and play mp3's launches the navigation system. the navigation program s gread twards mobile small screen use already but if it could incorparte multi media control. like cd's dvd's and mp3's. but at the same time it is a full computer so it needs to be able to have access to watever programs the user wants to install. the biggest challange i am facing now is the addition of a 200 disc cd/dvd changer. i need an interface that can access the changers contents and catalog them so the user can either scrool or search, It should display the names if the discs have one or let the user name the disc. then play or open the player for watever media they choose. even its a video game. let me know if this is to much work? or how much something like this would cost. like i said it just has to control other programs and display their information not really do all those things itself. and it must have multi monitor fuction so the user can put a dvd on one screen and play mp3's in [login to view URL] using the powerfile solo 200 disc changer it is supposed to act just like a regular disc drive is what they told me. trav route gps software in conjunction with any vehicle lcd system. as far as specific software for the actual cd, mp3 and dvd veiwing and playing, email, video games that hasnt been decided yet. i figure i would leave that up to whoever is doing the programming so they can use watever works best for them ,is more stable, and is adaptable. the specific input device has not been finalized yet. i am still looking for a small(the smaller the better) wired or usb, backlit keyboard with a built in pointing device. for an idea of what i am doing please check out [login to view URL] (its the same unit) i need a n interface like theirs but only to the next level. telematics functionality would be be nice but it can wait till the next version ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. a master restore disk so the complete system can be installed on any system with realtively little or no hassle. the abilty to revise and upadte (for a fee of course) Complete copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform windwos98, windows me, XP ## Deadline information first draft must be done by april 15th
