Chapter 9 (Ekedahl and Newman) Create a solution works with two tables having master/detail relationship. First table has employee records, second table has payroll transaction records for each employee Save and execute the file named Ch09Ex1.exe. Set the drive designator as necessary. For the solution to run, the database [url removed, login to view] must exist in the same folder as the executable file. Input form contains a list box, and a DataGrid control instance. Select employee names in ListBox control instance. The corresponding payroll is in the DataGrid. As you select different employees, payroll totals are recalculated for selected employee. Create new solution named [url removed, login to view], setting the drive designator as [url removed, login to view] form to center of the desktop when the solution is run. Configure the form so that the user cannot resize it. Use OleDbConnection and OleDbDataAdapter controls, create connection to database. Use two Old DbDataAdapter control instances to get the data from the two respectful tables. Generate one DataSet based on the two DataAdapters. Write statements in the frmMain_Load event handler to populate the DataSet. Use XML Designer, define a DataRelation to link the field named fldEmployeelD between the two tables Create instance of the ListBox control. Set properties so ListBox control will display the field fldName in table named tblEmplovees. Create an instance of DataGrid control on form. Configure DataGrid control instance so that it displays records from table named tblPavroll. Use DataRelation object to accomplish this. Make sure DataGrid control instance displays payroll records for currently selected employee. Format the DataGrid so the column header names are the same. Make background color of the selected row light [url removed, login to view] sure that the rows have an alternating color. Write code to calculate number of transaction, total gross pay, total withholding, total net pay for currently selected employee. Display results in Label control instances at the bottom at the form. Format output as currency. Right-justify output in Label control instances. Create an Exit button. The Click event handler for the button, display a message box to get confirmation from the user before exiting the solution. Create Update button that allow user to save changes to DataGrid back to database. Write code for the button. Allow user to add, change, delete records

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
