DNN Skin Upgrade

I have a DotNetNuke 3.1 skin that I need upgraded to work in a DNN 5.x environment.? I would also like the general look and feel of this skin updated.?

## Deliverables

I need the skin and container files for my website,

[[url removed, login to view]][1], upgraded to work in an optimal fashion on a DotNetNuke 5.x environment.? I can provide the current skin files and images.? ?

The new skin should be optimized for performance - I'm hoping for a reduction in size and render time for? all the pages.? It should also work on all the specified browsers (my current skin has trouble on some IE 8 browsers - something with the? SolPart menu I think).? Also a login/profile/logout link should be added somewhere in the header area (like traditional DNN skins usually have).

I would also like the? overall appearance of the skin upgraded.? ? This is difficult to quantify...but? hopefully it will suffice to say that the current skin has been in use for? 4 years now, and I would like to? freshen this up.? Some things I hope to see in the new skin:? ?

? ? ? ? 1) A reduced feeling of "business"...something simpler for the eye to follow.? ?

? ? ? ? 2) More consistency and compatibility in the various colors and fonts being used.? Some of this is hard-coded in the modules (like the "Recent Activity" pane on the home page) - I can upgrade that code myself but need recommendations.

? ? ? ? 3) The face/compass rose image is our logo and will not be changed, however I'm open to tweaking the colors of this logo.? ?

I would like the final deliverable to include a mock-up of a new? Home Page.? ? This mock-up can take full liberty to propose new formatting for the "Find a Place To Fly", "Start a Trip Plan", and "Recent Activity" panes.?
