No news bids please. Just sorting out finial details with selected coder at the moment. Thank you to everyone who placed a bid.
We require refinement of our access driven online photographic gallery. Our site allows users to search for and order photos from various events we cover.
We need asp code to dynamically generate pages of thumbnail and preview images and allow a user to create their own short list of images for purchase.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) A guarantee to rectify any bugs without charge within 48hours of notification.
3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
We require refinement of our access driven online photographic gallery. Our site allows users to search for photos from an event and returns firstly thumbs and then preview images sized at 550 x 358px. At present we use a JavaScript order form that I have cobbled together, but we would like to go to a shopping cart system.
Presently, an access database contains the search details and the URL of the images and thumbnails, and drop down menus are dynamically created based on form input. This is working well, however preparation of the info for the database for some of the events we cover is time consuming, and we would like to pass some of this responsibility onto our clients.
We need dynamically created thumbnail pages that display approx 30 or 40 images (69 x 45 px) per page in a 5 x 6 or so table format. The thumbnail pages need to allow the user to add images to a short list as they browse through perhaps five hundred thumbnails.
The user should be able to view their short list at any stage, and return to browsing thumbs without affecting the short list. They should also be able to view the 550 x 358 px preview image while browsing either the thumbs or their shortlist.
Another thing on our wish list is the ability for the user to save their short-listed 550 x 358 px images to their computer. When they're in their short list page, it would be good if an option was presented to download all short listed images. We would like to make it easy for the user to create a folder with our name inside their my documents folder, and then copy the images to this folder.
At any stage in the process, a user should be able to add an image to their shopping cart, and select the size and quantity of prints required. We also need the price of the print to vary according to how many prints have been ordered. Differing freight prices need to be calculated depending on the value of the order and the size of the prints ordered.
When an order is submitted, the values need to be validated, passed into a database and the order details also need to be emailed to us.
We would like to be able to synchronise databases on demand and although we're using Access at the moment, we're happy to move to a different database if advantageous.
To obtain a better understanding of what we do, have a look at the site I’ve pieced together from bits of code I’ve found around the net at <[login to view URL]>
