We're looking for an app developer that will build an android app specifically for the Amazon Kindle Fire tablet that simulates the Collections feature on the Amazon Kindle e-reader. Collections allows people to sort the books on their device into customizable folders and then allow them to open the book using the Kindle's native e-reading [login to view URL] it would just have to scan the drive for books, display the list of them, and allow users to sort the books into folders that they can create. You can see a video of how collections work on the Kindle here: [login to view URL] . Any design ideas to improve on the look and data displayed would be welcome.
The Kindle Fire specs require the app must be optimized for non-Google Mobile Services (GMS) Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) and a 7" screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600. General familiarity with the Kindle and Kindle Fire are preferred.
We are looking for someone with a record of creating polished apps from start to finish that are market-ready, including handling any bugs or glitches that arise in the short-term after the app's release. The app's text should be in English and good communication is important.
Once we've started, it would be nice to stick to this rough timeframe:

Thank you for your time and we look forward to working with you!
