At one image RxC which center is (R/2 , C/2) the polar coordinations of one pixel(x,y) is:
ρ = sqrt( (x-R)^2 + (y-C/2)^2 ) and θ = tan^-1(y/x)
Τhese transformations changing not linear ρ(or/and θ) of a pixel to a new value ρ' (θ') in order the new brightness to be result of the pixel which is nearest to the new polar coordinations. This pixel is calculating with the conversion from polar to cartesian coordinates:
x' = (R/2) + ρ'cos(θ')
y' = (C/2) + ρ'sin(θ')
I want to write a function [Rho, Theta] = PolarCoord(R,C). This function is giving the polar coordinates for every pixel of an image RxC.
Secondly, i want to write a function
Iout = ImageSpecialEffect(I , Rho , Theta)
This fuction it will take for input the image I and the transformated polar coordinates of the pixels and it must giving output the distorted image.
