Hi all,
I need a quick Cron/Shell Script (CentOS) that will do the following:
1. Ping 7 domains names (from a txt file).
2. Open my "sysconfig\iptables" file (which consists of 7 forwarding rules) and for each rule, replace its destination address by its corresponding resolved address from the previous ping commands.
3, Reboot the firewall to apply the new rules ("etc/init.d/iptables start" will do)
In practice, this should be easier than it was to explain :) Feel free to ask any questions if I wasn't clear.
Thanks,

Dear sir,
I'm expert in Linux scripts.
I've read your spec carefully. I'll complete it perfectly in most accurate within 1 days or less.
Kind regards,

Hi Paul,
Should be pretty straight forward. Only question is whether the script keeps running in the background at all times? Lemme know and we can quickly complete this.

Nitin
