creating a commandline tool for changing a link field in BLOB column in a database

I need a 32-bit commandline tool, that can read a special BLOB column from an odbc database and change link parts. In this BLOB field is an RTF file that has an embedded LINK in it. Target of the tool is to find all Links with the OLD_PATH and change them to NEW_PATH. I would start the tool with commandline parameter or with an config file, it does´nt matter. I need the parameters: - connection string(DSN/USER/PASS) - database - column - OLD_PATH string - NEW_PATH string The tool has to find all OLD_PATH matches in column(BLOB with embedded Link in RTF) from database and change this to NEW_PATH. The database and an example for the connection string are provided for project start to dispose. Please ask before if there any informations missing. best solution would be a tool written in JAVA. I need the source and a binary for windows.
