acceleration data recoding app

Create an app that is recording a specific move several times and stores the values of the device acceleration sensor into a file.

On the start screen show an input form element for gesture_name and a „Start“ button.

The user enters a gesture_name and hits the „Start“ button.

Set the accelerometer interval to 40 Hz. Use a lowpass filter.

Record acceleration values (x,y,z) for 2 seconds.

Play a signal sound.

Record acceleration values (x,y,z) for 2 seconds.

Play a signal sound.

…

go on like this n times until the user presses a „Stop“ button.

Save the data into a (csv) file. The filename contains the gesture_name that the user entered in the beginning.

The file contains extactly n rows (one row for 2 sec of recording).

Each row contains exactly 241 columns:

x-value after 0.025 sec,

y-value after 0.025 sec,

z-value after 0.025 sec,

x-value after 0.05 sec,

y-value after 0.05 sec,

z-value after 0.05 sec,

…and so on...

x-value after 2 sec,

y-value after 2 sec,

z-value after 2 sec,

gesture_name

One column for each accelerometer sensor value after a fixed time interval (0.025 sec) plus one column (the last column of each row) always containing the gesture_name.

Can be done for iPhone OR Android. In a second step it would be nice to store also gyroscope x,y and z values in the same file.
