Basic Prototype of Mondrian Integrated Directly into a Web Application

We are trying to integrate Mondrian directly into our existing web application. We have found a few basic examples provided through the Mondrian documentation. However, we got stuck when we configured Mondrian find a PostgreSQL driver when deployed to JBoss 7. The particular details on the problem we ran into are described in the following Stack Overflow post: [login to view URL] We need a working prototype of a bare bones Java web application that has Mondrian directly integrated. When describing Mondrian as being "directly integrated" into a web application, we mean that Mondrian is being used as a stand alone JAR and not as part of a BI server. The stand alone Mondrian JAR would be used to execute MDX queries. The deliverable for this project would be a zip file that includes a working environment that includes JBoss 7 with the Mondrian JAR, applicable dependencies, a PostgreSQL driver and a bare bones Java web application, and a document with step by step instructions describing how the environment was configured. Though it is necessary to include the entire JBoss directory with applicable configuration and a backup of the PostgreSQL database, it is not necessary to include the PostgreSQL install directory into the zip file. The Java web application included in the deliverable zip file can simply have "Hello World" functionality. The application could simply have one or two JSPs and Servlets with only a few lines of code. The application needs to: (i) successfully deploy to JBoss 7, (ii) have in its environment Mondrian successfully connected to a PostgreSQL database, and (ii) successfully execute an MDX query through Mondrian. We prefer that the configuration and deliverable zip file be prepared in and for a Linux environment rather than a Windows environment.
