Turn base game-- speed, while not crucial, should be fast and efficient and easily *scalable.* You must prove it scales.

Basic game functionality:
Users logon
see who is online and where (rooms)
friends list
locations user can go
game will have 2 playing screens where user plays. other screens for finding friends, tournaments [login to view URL] will be provided to you.
No Admin component for now, just end users. Simplifies.
Code must be tested. Really tested. Source code will work 100% so others may test it out. Testing is essential. Simulator for testing large # of concurrent users.
You should have experience with socket servers/ building your own or using commercial products such as electroserver/smart fox server.
You must be completely fluent in English.
You must be able to explain your code + technology to others.
Efficient code. Commented code. Modularized.
When you start (soon) it must be completed within 2 weeks. You must have the time to focus if you code this.

2 weeks?!?! It will take AT LEAST a month provided the card game is simple enough, if you want a proper secure engine that will be threaded server side and scale properly it will cost you as well.
