Design and illustrate a simple and creative city-map incl. illustrations of the city landmarks

Hi! For an innovative and important city project we need to have an illustrated (drawn) version of the city map of Amsterdam, with added illustrations of all landmarks, museums and regions. The design needs to be simple. To be clear: all travelers to Amsterdam will receive a pass/card which they can use everywhere in the city centre. So they can hop on hop off any boat, hop on hop off any tram, or go to any museum or attraction without waiting times or buying tickets upfront. This city-map needs to be complementary to this product. Make from the public transport a ride to your destination. Main features should be the tramlines, which are highlighted and have a central role in the project. The trams will take you from attractions to museums to local tips… We als need to create two the Hop on - Hop off boat routes . Around the map we should have room for small texts and a legenda. Steps for design 1. See attachment “ 1a. Leading map design” . This is very similar to what we need. Simple illustrations and a clear overview of the city. Moreover, the highlighted route is a clear example for the tram routes we like. However, this map is too small. We need more regions of Amsterdam. I will add an extra attachment [login to view URL] of Amsterdam as well. 2. Illustrate the tramlines on the map. For an official map of the tramroutes in Amsterdam, see attachement 2a. Amsterdam public transport lines. We think we have found the right colours for the different tramlines., attachment 2b. tramline colours. However, creative other ideas for colours are welcome! 3. We als need to create two the Hop on - Hop off boat routes. See attachment 3. Hop on hop off boat routes. It would be great if you have creative idea how to display the hop on hop off points. 4. I added a list of hotspots/regions, see attachment 4a. Hotspots. The hotspots are regions where we want people to go too. I also added attachemt 4b. Illustration icons, which gives you a better idea how we think the museums/ attractions and hotspots should be drawn. Again: your own input is very welcome here. :) 5. We already created a cardholder (attachment 5. example cardholder) which is being used together with the map. Please, look if you can match somewhere your map design with the cardholder. I can send you the AI file for the cardholder as well, so if you make corrections to the cardholder for matching the two products then this would be great. Priority Points - A clear and simple map ( attachment 1) - Highlighted tram lines (attachment 2) - Boat routes indicated with a light dotted blue line - Indicated hotspots (with small editable texts) - Room for texts and legenda of the museusm and attractions ( attachment 4) - I think we need the document to be layered.
