Design University Mascot - Bee

I am seeking creative designers and artists to develop a concept and draft illustrations for a University mascot. The concept is around a bee - which relates well the the institution\'s focus on hard work, and the engineering aspects of the bee.

I am not interested in a character that is overly cartoonish or that would appeal to a younger audience. My audience is college /university level, and should reflect strong engineering attributes which comprise the majority of students. The name of the mascot would be \"KUSTARIAN\" to reflect the identity of the mascot, and this name can (and likely should) be used alongside the mascot.

I plan to use this mascot after it has been developed and officially introduced across merchandise (T shirts, mugs, sun-blockers for cars, bumper stickers, key chains, plaques, etc.) in addition to publications related to athletic activities, websites, invitations, banners and event and games related activates organized by students or the administration.

I am looking for a creative person to create and design an original mascot, a character creation that will be used across multiple mediums as an image on merchandise, print, web, possibly video animations and other multimedia applications. The outcome will be an Illustrator file (or other design software, vector based), along with other sketches or artistic renderings and official variations.
