Alright so I basically want to create a bumped up flannel style shirt. What I mean by bumped up, is taking the classic flannel style shirt and making it better. (It doesn't have to be plaid design, thats just the sort of picture i have in mind- it can be a plain colour too)
So I want to target the travel industry and want to create a shirt that has extra pockets, secrets zips, absorbs sweat and is quite durable too. (I'm obviously open and encourage any other creative features) I want to bring in these features but still keep it looking fashionable you know. So you could wear it trekking in cold and warm temperatures, while at the same time wear it on a night out. the shirt needs to be as versatile as possible!
I also have a kangaroo pocket hoodie in mind - so if you can incorporate the same features into something like this, i'd be happy to check it out.
I want to create an incredible garment and launch it in a standard size curve for both men and women. The key is to be able to create an urban piece that can thrive in the outdoors! So i would need the designer to have a good understanding of technical fabric and try incorporate it into the shirt.
All in all, it cannot be too gadgety and must be wearable on the streets. So all in all, my brand focuses on simplicity, versatility, must be modern and fashionable. The shirt will be sold to someone who enjoys the outdoors but wants to look good when travelling. - Probably a hipster of some sort.
Brands like Patagonia and Aether may make help inspire you.
At the moment my budget is quite low but if i'm happy with your work, ill ask you to to help me through bigger projects.
