Project Name: Online Hotel Management System Problem Description: The Main objective of this project includes updating the hotel details, search and selecting the hotel rooms, calculating the hotel fares, viewing the availability, reserving the room, tracking the reservation and also includes generating reports for the hotel management. Features and Modules to be used for the Project: Home: • It is the default page for the site. • It shows the list of new hotels. • Customer can view hotel category wise or can search hotel by country and booking date. • Hotel Details: • Search result will display in this feature. • Customer can search hotel by country, city and booking date. • System will display available hotels for the given search conditions Reservation: • Customer can select the hotels from the list. • Enter the details like name, address, contact no, date of booking, number of rooms, payment details and submit the details. • System checks all the information and generates booking reference number for future reference. View Reservation: • Customer can view the previous reservation details by entering booking reference number. Hotel Registration: • The hotel management will enter all the details that includes name of the hotels, country, city and all the facilities available. • Hotel management will enter all the details of the hotels including, name of the hotels, country, city, description, number of rooms, facilities available. Rating of hotel, address, contact details, images of the hotel. Admin Roles: Login: Login page for the administrator and other system users. Admin users are identified by the user name, password. Hotels: Admin can view the list of hotels, edit the hotel details, add new hotel, address, contact details, facilities and images of the hotel, add users, staff, booking status. Reports – It shows report for the selected date range like number of hotel registered, Transaction held for the selected date. Change Password: Change the current logged user password. Logout – By clicking this link user logged out from this site all user session reset to default value.
