What we are looking for: • Collaborate with development, and analytics teams to accomplish objectives • Participate in design and discovery sessions • Open-minded and out of the box thinker with the creativity to conjure up unique solutions to meet business needs Be able to build all features like a mountable engine (gem) Ability to create application services that can scale Ability to work across the software stack (Rails, databases, caching, etc) Ownership and responsibility for major aspects of product functionality from back-end algorithms to front-end user experience. Work closely with peers to develop software that meets the business objectives of the organization. Make significant contributions to ensure a cohesive and integrated team, defining and advocating engineering best practices. Requirements: Minimum of 4+ years of RoR development experience. Full-stack experience building and scaling web Expertise with: Rails SQL Ajax , Jquery Bootstrap 3.X.X Mac / Linux development environment Restful interfaces Oauth Git Test Driven Development Ability to work within Agile development process with multiweek sprints planning and execution. Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, such as Amazon AWS You must be a creative and proactive problem-solver, who writes efficient and maintainable code. Plus: CoffeeScript Javascript MVC frameworks such as Angular.js or Ember.js. Enterprise application integration (EAI) .Strongest Knowledge of Middleware Desired Experience: • Experience with workflow systems. • Experience with cloud-based offerings (Amazon EC2, Heroku, etc.)
