Band T-Shirt (US High School style)

Hello, This project is create a good looking t-shirt (with 3 slightly different versions) for an Australian band. The band no longer exists, but a campaign is underway to have them reform. With their approval, I am asking for 3 t-shirts to be designed. The t-shirts will be similar in style to the American 'High School' t-shirts that seem to be around. Whilst the designs are very eye catching, they tend to only use very simple colors but gain a great deal of attention. About the band: The band was called the 'Clowns of Decadence'. They were 7 guys on stage, dressed as clowns with a hard rock show which included various instruments even including saxophone, trumpet and piano. Often they would even have big cardboard dice that they would throw into the crowd during a show. Therefore, the t-shirts should be fun, slightly carnival/circus-like in nature, and be as true to the theme as possible. Attached Files: I have attached various files for reference. First, I have attached some images of the band playing live, to give an idea of what they were like. I have also included three reference shots specifically for use in design of the t-shirts. Further to this, I have included some example 'high school' t-shirts that may provide a bit of a reference when looking at making the design. The Design: Whilst the images provided have a background, it is only the character in the image that should be included (the hammer being held is the exception). Colors should be simplified whilst ensuring that the image works well, is pleasing to look at and will work well on a t-shirt. The images would most likely be created as vector images rather than being a jpeg or similar. The layout, I am happy to see some creative input and suggestion from the awarded designer. Text: The main text will be (without apostrophes) 'Clowns of Decadence' Tagline of 'These Are Decadent Days' A small bit of text underneath '[login to view URL]' Delivery: I'd like to first see a couple basic concept designs so that I can provide some direction and input. Then, when we have a solid direction, I'd like to see the final images integrated so that 3 designs will be available. Final delivery should be the complete design files (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc) If the project goes well, there will be other t-shirt designs coming up. I will be choosing to remain with a good designer when I find one. If you have other examples of your work, it would be appreciated.
