Design of Logo to Run Across Top of Website

We need the headings bar designed for our website. For example here on freelancer there is a blue bar that runs across the top of every page, we want something similar but probably a little more interesting and that fits with the concept of the site.
We also need a font for our company name.
We have an example site but it is a competitor so please message us and we will send you the example along with some more information on what we are looking for.
