Cartoon Character, Young Wizard for Magic Pen Box

Looking for a talented graphic designer/cartoonist to create striking artwork to help brand a Product, website, marketing material... Many prospective projects for the right candidate with many products as we are the As Seen ON TV Company but to start we need a young wizard type character created for our Magic Pens product. He is a little kid around 6 with shorts bony knees and a wizard cloak and hat - a harry potter type but younger and cooler/wackier - We Already have good examples from our in house graphic design just needs the cartoonist touch to add the character. The product is a set of magic markers with the main market for kids but very effective for artists of all ages. The branding will be for website product packaging, promotional/marketing material and eventually a much larger project with an infomercial for Television. Creative with small 1-page storyline is helpful involving our young wizard. The cartoon strip will depict a young wizard, "Spreading his magic color transformation, erasing, 3_D designs and decoding of secret messages with his decoder pen/wand. A 6 year old wacky young man that with his pens is transformed into a very creative magician type with his Magic Pens... . We're looking for some creativity in how this is presented. We have ideas and could use creativity. Colour scheme: yellow and blue and purple but feel free to use more colours just yellow and blue should be most prominent especially for our young wizard. As well as this comic strip we're looking for a few stand-alone images in various poses (flying, spreading magic colors, just about to take-off). All images should be high-res photoshop originals with layers left unflattened as much as possible. This will allow me to edit things if I need to.
