I have built an api that pulls data on several stock tickers. I have built a ranking system that rates the stocks against each other based on several categories (discount, distribution, leverage, etc.) but I need to add some weighting calculations to provide a sense of priority in terms of each category. For example, discounts are more important to me than leverage. I need some type of weighting function to express this in the spreadsheet. I need help with this, its driving me crazy! I'm familiar with the market and have experience with excel. I also have experience with stock predictors, the type of data you've been collecting (through Fidelity Trader Pro), and data analysis using Matlab.
