I just read through the project description and wanted to extend my services.
I understand that this is going to be a battery backup device with 5V input and output (possibly USB?). Although this is a very to-the-point description, there are two major points that are missing.
1. Rated power output (Max. current)
2. Battery capacity.
With these handy I could give you a rough idea of components that could be used. I'll assume 2A output @5V and 3000mAh Li-ion battery.
A good selection would be:
* Battery charger: TP4056 ~$0.09 @100 pcs.
* Boost ckt: LM2577 ~$0.6 @50pcs
* Inductor: 10uH 4A ~$0.2 @50pcs
* Switching ckt: Schottky diodes <$0.05 @500pcs.
This should give you a self switching circuit for ~$1.5 per unit, @1000pcs or so.
For my bid, I will be providing the following services:
* Component selection
* Schematic building
* PCB layout (based on your specs.) and routing
* Manufacturing files (Bill of materials, Gerbers, Component daigram, Pick n place file, Schematic and PCB designs)
* Unlimited changes to design within 3 days.
* Guarantee and support for 120 days. (Guarantee = reworks in case something doesn't work out. eg. component is not available, alternate needed)
