The project is to provide a high level design, including bill of materials of major components, of a circuit that can switch off and on a 120V, 15A, resistive load to be used in residential applications.
Possibly using a triac on the switching side but am open to other suggestions. Possibly using Bluetooth on the phone side but am open to other suggestions.
Design should include power requirements, regulator etc. We provide a half rectified AC with 2 resistors.
Size is of critical importance.
We may be trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, but I will need this circuit to go on a daughter card with SIM like mounting, or it will need to get shrink wrapped with the ends soldered. This might be too much of a kludge as I am trying to fit this cct in an existing product that has little space to spare.
Perhaps you can quote me on your recommendations for a module firstly. Then a quote on the main building block IC recommendations with my own PCB layout. Keep in mind I don;t need all of bluetooth capabilities-just bluetooth pairing and on off of triac
If the size doesn't fit then the project will be [login to view URL], if we are talking a PCB larger than your thumbnail then that might be too big. Though, I may be able to house 2 PCBs this size. One with triac, with with bluetooth-connected by wires.
Perhaps triac is not on PCB but with flying leads. We are open to offers to help make our decision on a go or no go.
