The project does not look that complicated from a technical point of view. Some details still have to be better documented and explained. For instance, the brake functionality is a bit unclear because of the external circuitry which is coupled to the PCB and influences the brake behaviour. Also the possibility to use 5 unused digital I/O's. This in my opinion is better to be agreed in advance, this means how many inputs and how many outputs out of them 5 and what kind of inputs and what kind of outputs from a electrical point of view... I mean relay outputs or maybe transistor outputs, the current demand of the outputs etc...Anyhow, the project can be done.
