I'm looking for an individual with some experience with the open source accounting program, Gnucash-- who can make journal entries for our transactions. Experience with this program is not required, but would help. After a quick learning curve, most will catch on easily.
We are a small company, averaging around 3-8 transactions each day. There are two chequing accounts, and one credit card account, to look after. We are about 5 months behind at the current time, so we would need these months entered immediately.
You will have weekly responsibilities, for consolidating and organizing expense reports, receipts, etc.
We are looking for a long-term employee.
Please let me know your availability, and your hourly billing rate. Preference will be made to those who can be available for business hours, 9 am to 5pm in the GMT -5 time zones.
Communication skills in the written English language are very important. Attention to detail is a must. Please let me know about your experience with this program, and in other areas, that will allow me to best review your potential as a candidate.

Hello: Although I haven't used Gnucash, it seems to have had a number of bugs which make it vulnerable to crashing problems related to data and dollar data. Would like to work on this project if still open. Bid is approximately what the monthly charge would be, can be negotiated if work time is less than estimated.
