We regularly receive registrations for a service we run. People provide us with their address as well as other details.
We need the address fields checked and converted.
If we agree to go ahead I will supply you with a spreadsheet that needs to be modified as per the following:
People enter their Address into just one single field. The Address fields need to be converted into the Street, Suburb, State, Postcode, Country fields. Often people don't enter enough information or enter incorrect information so you also need to check that the address is complete.
Street may include unit/level/street number/street name. Street may also be a PO Box. Please use common sense when editing these addresses. Most are Australian based addresses so experience with or knowledge of the Australian address format is desirable.
When an address is incomplete or looks like it may cause issues the row should be marked as a problem by entering "Problem" into the Notes column of the spreadsheet.
People also register for the service multiple times or have people from the same address register - they are only allowed to enter once per address and once per person. If you believe an entry is a duplicate please mark it as "Duplicate" in the Notes column of the spreadsheet.
If you are unsure about how to do something I would prefer that you send me an email and ask what the correct way to handle it is then you going ahead and doing it incorrectly.
I have approximately 500 rows that need fixing. Once you've fixed them you need to send the fixed spreadsheet to me.
If I'm happy with the way you work there will be plenty more of this type of work available.
