The objective of this project is to replicate 31 pre-supplied and pre-configured spreadsheets 24 times, producing a total of 744 spreadsheets, and then make slight alterations to each of the spreadsheets. Each spreadsheet contains a list of 28 items that a restaurant would typically offer its customers, along with two columns of revenue data that represents a single day’s income for the sale of those products. The “ACTUAL” column depicts the revenue typically obtained without the customer using a coupon. The “IMM” column represents the revenue associated with customers using coupons. The “QTY” column is the quantity of each of the 28 products that were sold each day. The “Price” is the price for which those products were sold. Changing the number in the QTY cell will automatically change the ACTUAL and IMM summation values. The first objective of this project, is to replicate the 31 pre-configured spreadsheets 24 times, while keeping the spreadsheet naming convention sequential for each spreadsheet. In other words, the number in the name of the spreadsheet will reflect the number of the actual replicated spreadsheet. Next, the QTY values in the spreadsheets need to be altered slightly. This is done by changing each of the QTY values up or down. ie; Change Beer QTY sold on each spreadsheet from, for example 55 to 45, or 60, or 53, or 49, etc, to show that the quantity of the product sold, varied each day. Then repeat this process for each of the 28 products on that same spreadsheet. Then, repeat this overall process for all spreadsheets. The overall revenue numbers in the first 12 times, needs to be 20% less than the revenue numbers provided in the supplied spreadsheets. The overall revenue numbers in the second 12 times, needs to be 20% less than the first 12 times Lastly, the spreadsheets QTY and Price columns should be removed, as well as the macros in the ACTUAL and IMM columns, while maintaining the numeric values presented in the cells.
