Data Entry Collection - Taking Organizational Contacts, Putting Them On Excel Spreadsheet in Formatted List

Purpose: create a formatted excel spreadsheet database / list of contacts that will be used to import into an address book software.
The project involves a two steps:
- copy and paste a directory of company (list) from a website to an excel spreadsheet
- format/organize the excel spreadsheet .xls
The website is a city's Chamber of Commerce website with a list of all registered businesses in our city. On the directory page, there are 405 A-Z sub-directories (e.g. accountants, plumbers, designers, construction, etc), with typically 1-5 companies per subdirectory (some up to 15). I would estimate 1,000 - 1,500 companies, but this is just an estimate. (I would post the website, but not sure if allowed to on this site).
Each of the 405 sub directories can be copied at one time from website to spreadsheet - then you need to format from there. I will explain below. One company may be under several different directory - no duplicates are required and should be deleted by you.
The information on the website is formatted differently than how it will be with the spreadsheet when formatted. Attached is an example of before and after to get an idea of how things need to look in the end also.
Specific steps:
- For each alphabetic / business category (A-Z) directory on the website, copy all the businesses in each category (e.g. accountants) into an excel spreadsheet
- transpose the data from column to row (the software needs it this way)
- format text in "phone" row. e.g. change phone from "Ph: XXX-XXX-XXXX" to just "XXX-XXX-XXXX" (software doesn't want "Ph:")
- delete fax (don't need this)
- add website if there is an existing link. There is a link to the site, but I need the [url removed, login to view] to be in its own column (see attached for example)
- if there is no street address, the city/province will be pasted into the "street" column. LEAVE THIS AS IS. NO NEED TO MOVE THESE - WILL SAVE YOU TIME.
- Ensure all entries are consistent in how they are lined up - e.g. all phone should be in same row.
Simple data entry with formatting in bulk.
Thank you for your proposal. I would do a similar repeat of this for a much larger city near us in 2 months also and would use same person for that job if they did a good job. Saves me time and convenience and I appreciate that.
