The Gulf War
The crisis from the Persian Gulf started on 2nd of August 1990 when Kuwait was invaded by military forces of the Iraq. In 1993 The United Nations imposed a series of sanctions to Iraq and the obligation that all the weapons of mass destruction be destroyed. Saddam Hussein, the Iraqi president at the time, did not cooperate, in spite of all British and American attacks. The reality that one of the most important oil producers had been occupied in no more than a few hours seemed to be unbelievable for the whole world, but the United States of America were the first to send the army in order to take back the Iraqi territory.
