Job Description Job title: Content Curator Reporting to: Content Manager Salary: 100$ per Week Hours: Part-time Position - 5 to 8 hours per week Location: Montreal, QC. Purpose of the position To curate quality content on many different topics around Finance, Economy, Health, Media, International Policy, Literature, etc, by using the Spundge platform. Candidates will be perusing online sources in search for content related to their expertise or chosen topics, and including short commentary on the relevance or value of the selected items. Key responsibilities & duties - Create one Notebook per chosen topic and curate content into those Notebooks by including comments and notes on why the selected item is valuable or relevant. - Connect the Notebooks to the candidate’s social accounts in order to amplify their reach. - Curation needs to be done on a daily basis. Quality of the content should prevail over quantity. Candidate is expected to read the content and place it in context. Skills and Qualifications - Well-informed and highly active student or professional. - Smart, and an expert or passionate about a specific topic. - With a critical sense and the capacity to discern valuable content, and form an opinion on it. - Coming from diverse fields such as Finance, Economy, Health, Media, International Policy, Literature, etc. [Spundge will maintain and update a list of topics to be covered, but we will consider candidates from all fields]. - With the time and interest to curate content daily. - Active on Social Media (i.e. with active Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn accounts). - Perfectly fluent in a language of your choice, both oral and written. (Priority given to English and/or French.
