A USB .E01 image is to be examined. Must recover files from corrupt Encase .E01 image file. The partitions are missing and the CHS is off, thus preventing files from being detected or recovered with forensics tools, i.e. mmls, forecast, scalpel, testdisk, etc. After partitions and filesystem is restored: 1. Recover all images related to the "Estonian Police" 2. Recover all files & folders related to "computer forensics" 3. For all recovered files determine possible original name, allocation status (deleted or not), file system timestamps (created, modified), file size and location (starting cluster, starting logical sector). Example available.
