There are two Cisco Voicemail systems: Cisco Unity (Unity) and Cisco Unity Connection (CUC). I have supported both systems. I will need remote access to the Cisco voicemail systems via RDP (Unity) and CLI/HTTP (CUC). All work will be done via WebEx session which I will be able to provide.
Requirements to fully engage a Unity/Exchange problem is someone on the WebEx bridge who can make changes to the Unity service account (if necessary), Web Administrator and CLI/RDP Administrator credentials to Unity server.
Depending on the problem, I will need to have trace files provided.
I plan on narrowing the problem by performing basic checks on the system to determine if Unity is able to reach Exchange server and whether the Unity Svc credentials are valid. If the Unity and Exchange system are working fine, I will further narrow the problem to Unity system internal processes by making test calls and reviewing trace log files.
